With a firm focus on being family-oriented, Tuart Family Practice offers a wide range of medical services for women, men and children. The experienced team is able to provide a number of services including dermatological care, chronic disease management; as well as catch up vaccinations, contraceptive care ,contraceptive insertions and antenatal services.
Tuart Family Practice aims to be a mini super clinic, with a wide range of Allied Health professionals available to help the Baldivis community.
Our Doctors are also fluent in Italian, Malay, Sinhalese, Nepali and Hindi.

Cardiac Health
One in six Australians are affected by cardiovascular disease. Cardiovascular disease is one of Australia’s largest health problems. Despite improvements over the last few decades, it remains one of the biggest burdens on our economy.Cardiovascular disease (CVD) refers to all diseases and conditions involving the heart and blood vessels. The main types of CVD in Australia are coronary heart disease, stroke and heart failure/cardiomyopathy.At Tuart Family Practice, we use preventative health checks, and an on site ECG to assess and manage your cardiac health.
Weight Management
At Tuart Family Practice we are able to assist patients with weight management through our on-site dietitian’s and exercise physiologist. Our aim is to minimize weight related illnesses such as diabetes and heart disease and improve health. Ask us today about what we can do for you.
Speech Pathology
Speech pathologists help you communicate, or when you have trouble eating and drinking. They can help you when you have trouble understanding and talking with others. They also can help with reading, spelling and using technology or other ways to communicate.Speech pathologists also help people who have trouble swallowing, which can make eating and drinking difficult.To see Speech Pathologist Diana Yee at Tuart Family Practice, talk to your GP for a referral.
Cervical Screening
The Cervical Screening Test tests for HPV. Nearly all cases of cervical cancer are caused by HPV. It is advised that all women between the ages of 25 and 75 undertake a Cervical Screening Test every 5 years.We have a number of female GP’s who can assist women with routine Cervical screening.
Mental Health
A person’s mental health affects how they feel, think, behave and relate to others. Mental illness covers a spectrum of disorders that vary in how severe they are and how long they last. Our Doctor’s, together with our onsite Psychologist’s are able to assist you with providing a treatment plan to best manage your mental health.
Chronic Disease Management
The Doctor will coordinate care for eligible patients with chronic diseases, supported by Allied Health services.
Hearing Assessment/Audiologist
Our audiologist attends the clinic one day per month to provide hearing assessments for all ages.Audiologist Muthu Nachiappan – Vcare Hearing Audiologist Muthu Nachiappan JP is a very experienced Audiologist. Muthu will be in charge of all patient-related treatment activities which include diagnosing the client and prescribing relevant hearing solutions, liaising with referral sources like primary care physicians, ENT specialists, and Health and Safety officers in industries.
Vaccinations
Our nurses are onsite Monday through to Friday to provide you and your children with childhood vaccinations according to the National Childhood Immunisation Register. We are also able to provide catch up vaccination schedules, and adult and most travel vaccinations.
Iron Infusions
If a person does not have enough hemoglobin, they can feel tired, have a rapid heartbeat, and may even have difficulty breathing. An iron infusion may be used for someone with an iron deficiency when supplements do not work.Appointments must be booked via our friendly receptionists.
Contraception
All of our Doctor’s are experienced at helping you find the best form of contraception to suit your needs. We can provide many forms of contraception including implants (Implanon) and IUD’s (Mirena).
Driving Medical Assessment
Existing patients only: Holders of particular types of licences (such as a taxi, small charter or driving instructor) or those with medical condition(s) are required to satisfy the Department of Transport (DoT) of their fitness to drive.When booking your appointment please let the receptionist know you are booking for a drivers licence medical assessment to allow for sufficient time. Cost:$150 payable on the day for a Commercial Drivers Licence Medical Assessment.Doctors do not offer a Commercial Driving Assessment for new patients.
Mole Scan Clinic and Biopsy / Removal
Our doctors use Dermengine, the worlds most advanced skin analysis system. This tool is for regular skin screening and the early detection of skin cancer.
Respiratory Health
Our Doctor’s are experienced in asthma management to provide the best outcome for our patients. We have on site spirometry and can provide Chronic disease management plans for all chronic respiratory illnesses.
Pathology
Tuart Family Practice has Australian Clinical Labs pathology onsite. We offer all routine pathology tests i.e. diabetes testing, and a wide variety of specialised tests such as Harmony NIPT, genetic carrier screening and commercial drug and alcohol testing. Medical Certificates
Medical certificates cannot be back-dated. If you reqiure a certificate for work, school or day care, etc. please book an appointment to see or speak to a doctor on the day. Unfortunately Doctors cannot supply a medical certificate for new patients.
Chiropractor
Chiropractic care focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of neuromuscular disorders, with an emphasis on treatment through manual adjustment and/or manipulation of the spine.
